Tailor Made v/ Caledonia Soul 19/09/20

Glasgow’s famous Caledoniasoul ran originally from 2001 to 2006 at the Woodside Social Club, and brought the UK’s top soul DJs to Scotland, some for the first time, including Ady Croesdell, Butch, Arthur Fenn, Guy Hennigan, Andy Dyson, Mick Smith, Ritson & Russell, Kenny Burrell, Ady Lupton, Marco Santucci, Alan & Steve Walls, Dave Rimmer, Jo Wallace, Kitch, Dean Anderson, Irish Greg, Keith Money and many, many more. The club returned in 2019 but like everything else was put into storage early in 2020. Their music policy is ’60s and ’70s soul, newies and underplayed oldies aimed squarely at the dancefloor.

Tailor Made Mod Club is brought to you by the men behind Friday Street and the Glasgow Mod Weekend, Mikey Collins and Paul Molloy. They’ve kept the modernist flame burning in Glasgow for decades with seminal nights, live shows and the jewel in their crown – The Glasgow Mod Weekender, which constantly attracts hordes of sharp dressed visitors who descend on Glasgow once a year to celebrate all things mod, based primarily around a love of authentic ’60s music: Soul, RnB, Boogaloo, Ska and Beat!

These two clubs joining together will be a marriage made in soul heaven.
