François Kevorkian should need NO introduction, but here goes…

Born and raised in France, moved to the United States in 1975 to play drums, competition to be a drummer was very high so became a DJ in underground clubs in New York City, taught himself tape editing and started making massively influential edits, got a job at legendary Prelude Records, remixed hundreds of tracks from disco to synth pop to you name it, Yazoo, Musique, The Smiths, U2, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode.. the list is endless.

Built his own recording studio, Axis Studios and slowed down the DJing to focus on production, but still continued touring, playing now legendary parties in Japan, launched his label Wave Music, launched Body & SOUL, a weekly Sunday party with Joe Clausel and Danny Krivit that has influenced a thousand parties since.

Since 2003 he’s hosted Deep Space – a Monday night party in NYC focusing on the deeper, dubbier side of his taste.
